Mumbai, Aug 1 — Bollywood star Salman Khan on Saturday shared heartwarming photographs of his reunion with longtime friend Sanjay Dutt, accompanying the images with an emotional note celebrating their enduring bond.

In the early hours of the morning, Khan posted two pictures of the pair warmly embracing. The first shows both actors locked in a hug, apparently at Dutt’s residence. The second captures a similar moment with Dutt more prominently in focus.

Alongside the images, Khan wrote: “Babaaaa for ever baba aur baba, baba hota hai. Sanju baba hai hum sab ka baba n Sanju baba now apne bacchon ka baba, mera bada bhai Sanjay Dutt, Allah, Bhagwan Jesus sab iss Aadhmi ko khush rakhain, I love you Baba.”

The post quickly drew affectionate responses from Dutt’s family. His wife, Maanayata Dutt, commented “brothers for life,” while his daughter Trishala Dutt added a string of pink heart emoticons.

Khan and Dutt share one of Bollywood’s longest-standing friendships and have collaborated on screen in several films. They appeared together in Saajan (1991), which starred Madhuri Dixit, and Chal Mere Bhai (2000), which featured Karisma Kapoor. Both films were commercial successes.

The actors also come from prominent film families. Khan is the son of writer Salim Khan, while Dutt is the son of actors Sunil Dutt and Nargis.

On the professional front, Khan is next scheduled to appear in Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace, a project based on the 2020 Galwan Valley clash.

The spontaneous social-media tribute underscored the personal warmth that has characterised the relationship between the two actors for more than three decades, transcending their occasional professional collaborations.
