Renewable energy firm Juniper Green Energy Limited will open its ₹1,800-crore initial public offering (IPO) for public subscription on July 30, 2026, with the issue priced in a band of ₹214 to ₹225 per equity share of ₹10 face value. The offer closes on August 3, while anchor-investor bidding is slated for July 29.

The IPO is entirely a fresh issue of shares, meaning the money raised flows to the company rather than to existing shareholders cashing out. Retail investors can bid for a minimum of 66 shares and in multiples of 66 thereafter — working out to ₹14,850 at the upper band (and ₹14,124 at the lower). Eligible employees applying under the reservation portion get a ₹21-per-share discount. As reported, the company plans to use roughly ₹683 crore to repay or prepay its own borrowings and about ₹729 crore to fund debt repayment at subsidiaries including Juniper Green Gamma One, with the balance going to general corporate purposes. ICICI Securities, HSBC Securities and Capital Markets (India), JM Financial and Kotak Mahindra Capital are the book-running lead managers; KFin Technologies is the registrar.

Incorporated in 2011 and part of the Singapore-based AT Capital Group, Juniper Green Energy is counted among India's larger renewable-energy independent power producers, building and operating utility-scale solar, wind, hybrid and firm-and-dispatchable renewable projects backed by battery storage. Its offer document reports operational capacity in the region of 2,409 MWp as of June 2026, within a broader multi-gigawatt portfolio spanning under-construction and contracted projects. Per its filings, income rose sharply year-on-year to about ₹805 crore, alongside a modest net profit — the kind of growth-plus-deleveraging profile common among clean-energy IPP listings.

The shares are tentatively set to list on the BSE and NSE on August 6, with allotment expected around August 4. A debt-heavy balance sheet is typical for capital-intensive power developers, so the deleveraging use of proceeds is a key detail for anyone assessing the offer against sector peers, several of which we've tracked in recent clean-energy listings and how they fared.
