Sumeet Sachdev Climbs 120 Floors With 10-kg Bag to Stay Fit
Actor Sumeet Sachdev shared a demanding fitness session in which he climbed 120 floors carrying a 10-kg bag, urging fans to stay healthy weeks after a choking scare.
Mumbai: Actor Sumeet Sachdev, best known for playing Gautam Virani in the hit television show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, has given fans a glimpse of an intense fitness routine, saying he climbed 120 floors carrying a 10-kg bag to stay fit and inspire others.
He shared a video on social media in which he is seen pushing through the workout with the heavy bag on his shoulders, climbing many flights of stairs before heading home. Visibly sweating after the session, he addressed the camera on the importance of staying active and healthy, using his own effort as an example. He captioned the post: “This is to inspire you all #stayhealthy.”
The video comes a few weeks after Sumeet spoke about a frightening health episode and urged people to be more mindful of everyday habits. In July, he revealed that he had choked on food while dining at a restaurant with his wife and brother and had struggled to breathe. He described the incident as “very scary” and said his brother and the restaurant owner helped him. In that earlier video he advised following the simple guidance often given by parents—taking small bites and chewing food properly—noting that although he was normally a careful eater, food had become stuck on that occasion.
