Fujifilm India has announced actress Rashmika Mandanna as brand ambassador for its Imaging Solutions business, covering Electronic Imaging, instax instant cameras and Photo Imaging across the country.
The company said the association is aimed at strengthening its connection with a new generation of consumers.
Rashmika said photographs have always held special meaning for her. "Photographs have always been special to me because they let us hold on to moments and feelings long after they have passed. I love capturing the little things, whether it is a spontaneous moment, time spent with people I love, or simply something I want to remember."
"As an instax user myself, I have always enjoyed the feeling of seeing a photograph come alive in my hands and being able to share it with someone. That is what makes my association with FUJIFILM India feel so natural," she said.
What the Company Said
Koji Wada, Managing Director of Fujifilm India, said Rashmika's ability to connect with audiences aligns with the group's purpose of "Giving our world more smiles." "Through this association, we hope to inspire a new generation to discover the joy of photography," he said.
Arun Babu, Associate Director, Imaging Solutions Division, said the portfolio "goes beyond cameras and photography," bringing together instax, digital cameras, QuickSnap, printing solutions and binoculars into a "click to print" journey.
Why It Matters: Gen Z and the Return of the Printed Photo
In an age when most photos live on phones, instant cameras and photo printers offer something different: a physical picture you can hold, share and keep. Fujifilm says consumers are rediscovering the joy of turning digital moments into printed photographs, and its choice of ambassador reflects that.
Rashmika has a large following among young audiences, the same group Fujifilm wants to attract to instant photography. Her personal use of instax gives the partnership an authentic touch rather than a purely promotional one.
