Apple Posts Record India Revenue in June Quarter
New Delhi, July 31 — Apple CEO Tim Cook said the company achieved June-quarter revenue records in every geographic segment, including India, even as it navigated significant supply-chain constraints and foreign-exchange headwinds.
Apple reported quarterly revenue of $109.4 billion, a 16 per cent increase year over year. Gross margin stood at 50.1 per cent, incorporating a favourable impact of approximately two percentage points from tariff refunds. Diluted earnings per share rose 29 per cent year over year to $2.02, which included a $0.11 benefit from the same refunds.
“We achieved June quarter revenue records in every geographic segment. We were pleased to see strength across the board with June quarter records in the U.S., Latin America, Western Europe, India, China Mainland, Japan, and Southeast Asia,” Cook said.
Mac revenue reached $10.4 billion globally, up 29 per cent year over year and a new June-quarter record, driven by strong demand for the MacBook Neo and MacBook Pro. In India, Apple recorded another revenue high, with Mac emerging as the standout category. Growth was fuelled by a sharp rise in MacBook Neo adoption alongside continued robust demand for the iPhone 17 series, despite ongoing iPhone supply constraints in the country.
CFO Kevan Parekh noted that Mac delivered its best quarter ever for both new customers and upgraders worldwide, including in the United States, China Mainland and India.
Industry analysts observed that Apple has largely maintained stable pricing despite rising memory costs. Tarun Pathak, director at Counterpoint Research, said the company is expected to post single-digit volume growth but double-digit value growth in India during calendar year 2026. He views an iPhone price increase as highly likely, yet anticipates that the brand’s aspirational appeal will continue attracting new users into the ecosystem—a halo effect already visible across adjacent categories, with Mac performing strongest this quarter.
Pathak added that rising component costs are prompting price increases across the Android ecosystem. “However, Apple is expected to outperform the industry across its key hardware categories driven by the strength of its installed base and initial positive reception of Siri AI. June quarter results reinforce this view. OEMs face a difficult choice between protecting margins and protecting volumes, and the market will feel that pressure. Apple has so far avoided that trade-off,” he said.
The results underscore Apple’s ability to sustain growth in key markets such as India even under supply and currency pressures, with Mac sales providing a notable bright spot alongside steady iPhone demand.
